Deanna Ballou Jensen has over 20 years of experience as a family law attorney.  Much of her practice at this point involves complex cases in all areas of family law.  As a result she goes toe-to-toe with some of the toughest attorneys in the state.  Her first goal in any case is to find a way for both sides to reach a fair compromise with each other that is also in the best interests of the children, if children are involved.  However, compromise is not always possible, and when it is necessary to try a case before a judge, she is a powerful and focused litigator.  Her years in family law have given her a knowledge of critical financial issues in property division disputes such as closely held businesses, complex tax issues, division of separately owned property, retirement plans of all kinds, inheritances, division of stock options and Restricted Stock Units, bankruptcy, foreclosures, consumer debt liabilities, and many other financial issues faced by people dividing up their assets and debt.  She has the resources required to resolve cases and she has access to the best experts in Oregon if expert analyses and testimony are needed to clarify difficult asset and debt issues.  She is familiar with and has used many of the very best custody and parenting time evaluators.

More often than not the dissolution of a relationship, whether it is a marriage, a registered domestic partnership, or unmarried heterosexual partners, requires the unraveling of deeply intertwined interests.  Deanna will help you understand the law and the practicalities you are facing so that you can make reasoned decisions about settlement or litigation.  No matter how often an attorney has appeared in court or before a particular judge, judicial decisions are not easily predictable.  No one can guarantee that you will get the result you seek.  However, with Deanna Jensen as your attorney, you will be heard by her and by the court, and you will have a tough advocate for your interests and the interests of your children.
